Meet the students contributing to research at SCAILAB
Isak — Mechanical Engineering student at University West.
Isak also holds a bachelor's degree in business and has joined SCAILAB for a six-month industrial placement where he is expanding his knowledge in industrial robots and their architecture; learning how complex robotic systems are built from the ground up.
His work focuses on:
• Prototyping and testing mechanical systems for robotics applications
• Bridging the gap between hardware and software in robotic systems
• Supporting the development of reliable platforms for vision systems and AI algorithms
His main goal is to gain a deeper understanding of how code enables mechanical hardware to function intelligently, exploring the software side to robotics.
