Welcome Anna Melnichenko – Scailab’s First Tech Hire! 🚀

We’re incredibly excited to introduce Anna, who just joined Scailab as our first Machine Learning Scientist and employee #1 on the tech team.

🎓 With a Bachelor’s in Engineering Physics and a Master’s in Machine Learning from KTH, Anna brings a sharp mind and a deep curiosity about how machines learn and interact with the world.

🛠️ But she’s not just about theory — she’s been hands-on with real industrial systems, working as a maintenance technician at both AstraZeneca and Scania before diving full-time into ML. This blend of experience gives her unique insight into the kind of environments our tech is built for.

🎨 And when she’s not wrangling data? Anna helped design and build decor at SNNC, combining creativity, structure, and collaboration — traits that already shine through in how she works.

At SCAILAB Anna will help shape the future of how robots learn from humans — through simulation, synthetic data, and human-in-the-loop AI.
