Every company needs German efficiency – and that’s exactly what Moritz Schmidt brings to SCAILAB.
🧠 His superpower? Turning one-hour meetings into 15-minute decision sprints — and somehow still managing to keep us all aligned. Naturally, he takes care of operations.
🎓 With a background in Mechanical Engineering (Mechatronics) and Computer Science (Intelligent Embedded Systems), Moritz is currently pursuing a PhD in Robotics. His work bridges the worlds of hardware, AI, and systems engineering.
Before co-founding SCAILAB, Moritz:
🛠️ Developed sensor and mechatronic systems as a consultant for the German military
🤖 Built embedded and AI-based solutions from the metal up
🏁 Held executive roles in sports and motorsport associations — turns out, running a startup isn’t that different from managing high-speed, high-stakes teams
Now at SCAILAB, Moritz makes sure our ideas actually become real systems — by building robust operations, clear priorities, and a structure where our tech can thrive.
