Peculiar — Master’s student in Product and Process Development at MDU.
Peculiar is a software engineer with experience building scalable systems for logistics and tech startups.
As recipient of the Swedish Institute's Pioneering Women in STEM Scholarship, she is particularly passionate about the future of AI-driven automation and how emerging technologies can transform industrial processes.
Peculiar is currently an intern at SCAILAB, focusing on developing and maintaining the web infrastructure that allows researchers and engineers to generate high-quality synthetic datasets for AI and robotics applications.
Her work focuses on:
• Automating data validation pipelines to ensure training data quality for computer vision models
• Improving dataset workflows
• Building preprocessing automation that eliminates manual quality checks for robotics perception training
Her contributions are creating a more robust and reliable platform that makes next-generation industrial AI possible.
